I reblogged because I’ve encountered vegans who do that. I used to be vegetarian, then vegan, and I couldn’t stand when people did things like that even then. And I know the person I reblogged it from has also had recent encounters with such people. It’s a really common comparison for veg(etari)ans of a certain ideological bent to make. Just because we reblog it doesn’t mean we lack the context to put it in, or that we believe meat is cruelty-free.
