Kitten and fawn nuzzling and licking each other.
Foster kittens Ella and Bruce (roughly 13 weeks old here) have pretty much figured out the whole carnivore thing at this point. They normally just get regular cat food but when my SO and I go visit his parents’ house (where the kitties are) I like to bring them special treats, and small chicken-wing sections are a definite favorite. (Don’t worry, they are supervised the whole time while eating anything like this.)
Anyhow, in the video above you can see them both getting all GRRRRRRR when I move in close to them. I feel kind of bad laughing because they’re SO SERIOUS about the whole thing but it’s so incongruously adorable I can’t help it. :P
Kittens going RRRRRRRRRRRRRRR over pieces of chicken.
Here’s another one of Bruce (sister Ella can be seen in the background exploring). He was walking around on the rug and all of a sudden started sort of charging at me! Which was simultaneously adorable and a bit confusing until I realized he was probably wondering if I had any more turkey. These kittens are definitely getting VERY bold.
Went to Matt’s parents’ house today and managed to get some ridiculous kitten-video footage. Here Matt is holding the boy kitten (who he decided shall be called “Bruce”) and I am letting him try some turkey baby food. Bruce is just starting to get interested in solid foods and is apparently especially interested in turkey. Oh, and the babies have teeth now, as I found out in no uncertain terms today!
Brain melting from cuteness. And yes kitten teeth are like needles. And EEEEEEEEEEE KITTEN!!!! Kitten kitten kitten kitten kitten kitten kitten. And kitten. Tiny grey fuzzy person with high pitched mewing. KITTEN!

EEEEE! They look so happy and cozy. I love the look on the black one’s face!

[Three stuffed kitties. They are made of curly fluffy stuff. One is brown with some white markings. One is a grey tuxedo cat. One is a calico. All of them have shiny black eyes you can barely see through all the fuzz. And pink noses.]
I got these a long time ago. I showed one to a staff person. While she was looking at it I pulled out another. And while she was still surprised I pulled out the third. And she was like “How many ARE there?!?!? And where are they coming from??”
[picture shows a very young grey baby kitten — 1 week old — lying on his back on a pink striped blanket. Kitten’s mouth is slightly open and tongue is visible.]
A closeup of one of Bella’s kittens from this past weekend. He (I am *reasonably* sure this one is a boy) had rolled over on his back while crawling around the crate, but soon afterward found his way back to Bella. I just thought this picture was adorable, though. There is TINY KITTEN TONGUE! And tiny claws too. Eeeeee.
Eeeeeee! I wonder if Fey looked a little like that when she was tiny. I mean this guy doesn’t have her tuxedo markings, but he has a spot on the same part of his face. I really wish I had baby pictures of her, especially to see how her personality developed. Kittens!!!!!!
[picture shows a brown and black spotted/ticked tabby cat lying down on her side with two greyish baby kittens crawling on her.]
Kittenbabies! The 2 survivors are doing much, much better now. They’ve grown a ton and Bella (their mom) is exhausted but eating well and using the litterbox, etc.
Kittens!!!!!! And yes they look much bigger than mice now. And they’re kittens and therefore adorable. I love how they look when their ears haven’t even opened yet.
[photo shows the faces of two tiny kittens, one solid grey and one stripy. Their eyes are not yet open.]
Tiny kittenfaces! I actually didn’t even realize I got this picture until I downloaded the photos off the camera, because the faces were so teeny-tiny. It’s hard to get a sense of scale but seriously these kittens are literally about the size of an average adult mouse right now.
